Billy Update (7-3)

Dear special group of praying friends,

Thank you so much for praying this past week! It was a super extra special treat to have Grace Bible Church there. Mr. Hall, Greg, and Kathy, you guys were a great encouragement. It was so great to see some of my church family again! :)

The Lord's hand was all over this past week. The testimonies that were given that some counselors and op-staffers gave were just incredible. Some of them their entire cabin made salvation decisions. What a blessing to see the Lord work in the lives of young people, and what a priviledge it is to serve Him and the campers in a way so that they can better know their Lord and Savior!

I was able to break down some barriers on the basketball court this past week. There were a group of city basketball players that always made their way to the court, it was great to be able to share the love (and unselfish TEAM spirit) of Christ with them!

I had two prayer partners, so by the end of the week, I still did not know all of their names very well. But they all thanked me very much for the Mt. Dew on their table Friday evening. I have come to realize that that is a super special blessing to cabins. It was great to be able to talk with Jimmy too. Miss ya, bud! Keep that room clean! :) He and Garett I could tell just really enjoyed their counselor, Matt, who is finishing up seminary at Bob Jones. He was a great spiritual encouragement to me when he talked to me about the week. God continues to do great things here at the Wilds - AND ALL OVER THE WORLD!!! Praise His holy name!

I was very encouraged as Willie Partin preached a message this morning on not losing heart in the ministry... what an encouragement to get half-way through the summer! Trials are hard, but compared to the ETERNAL glory we will spend with Christ - nothing even COMPARES!!! I'll be going into this next week, as a result of God's working and your prayers, spiritually and physically refreshed.

Thank you all so much for praying! Continue to pray the staff will continue to preach the gospel of Christ with their lives this summer!

Ephesians 6: 19-20 "And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldy, as I ought to speak."
